FAI / Fondo Ambiente Italiano
In 2017, the FAI decided to revise its visual identity, originally designed in 1977 by Pino Tovaglia and subsequently evolved. "The Foundation turned to Massimo Pitis, who is a dedicated enthusiast and scholar of Tovaglia." (from the FAI website).
A custom typeface was also designed, with proportions that directly recall the history of Ancient Rome.
