Vitale Barberis Canonico 1663

Brand identity redesign and communication system for the Biella wool mill’s 350th anniversary

Project introduction

Vitale Barberis Canonico 1663

Created for the 350th anniversary of Vitale Barberis Canonico, the project redefines the visual identity and communication system of the historic Italian wool mill by connecting manufacturing heritage, textile culture, and contemporary design language. The work includes the redesign of the brand identity, art direction, and the development of editorial and institutional materials conceived to express the company’s long-standing tradition through a modern perspective. Typography, ornamental elements, and graphic details reinterpret the visual codes of Italian tailoring, creating a coherent system across printed materials, collections, and corporate communication.
